Question 1

What are precision peptides?

Accepted Answer

Precision peptides are short chains of amino acids synthesized for targeted research. They are investigated in laboratory models for their potential to influence various biological pathways, including tissue repair, metabolic function, and cellular aging. (Please refer to our disclaimer regarding use.)

Question 2

How should products be stored?

Accepted Answer

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored away from heat, light, and moisture. For long-term storage, keep them in a freezer at -20°C. Once prepared in solution, they must be kept refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C and should typically be used within 2-4 weeks depending on the specific peptide.

Question 3

What is a COA?

Accepted Answer

A COA (Certificate of Analysis) is a document issued by an independent testing laboratory that confirms a product meets its specification. It typically includes the results of HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) to verify purity and Mass Spectrometry to confirm the molecular weight and sequence identity.

Question 4

How are CODE23 Peptides products tested?

Accepted Answer

Every batch of our peptides undergoes rigorous third-party testing at analytical laboratories in the USA. We test for purity (minimum 99% requirement for most compounds) and identity. We make these COAs readily available on our product pages.
